You may have heard of air conditioning performance boosters, but don’t know quite what they do, or if they are necessary.

Well, we can’t speak about ALL performance boosters, but we CAN speak about FJC’s proprietary Extreme Cold™.

WHAT DOES EXTREME COLD™ DO?

FJC’s Extreme Cold™ boosts the performance of your automotive air conditioning by lowering duct temperature by 15%.  See our case study here which confirms the efficacy of this claim.  In addition to the “colder cold” coming into your cabin, you will also be conditioning the O-rings and rubber components of your system, helping to seal leaks in these areas.  Extreme Cold™ also extends the life of your compressor, reduces friction, removes moisture and keeps your system running smoothly.

WHAT TYPE OF SYSTEMS WILL IT BENEFIT?

Extreme Cold™ is designed for use in R-134a mobile air conditioning systems only.  It is compatible with all PAG and Ester Oils.

WHAT IS THE  EXTREME COLD™ FAMILY OF PRODUCTS? 

There are so many ways to add Extreme Cold™ to your system!

• LIQUID: Extreme Cold™ is available in 2 oz bottles (Part # 9153)and 8 oz bottles (Part #9158).  Using an oil/dye injector (sold separately), add 2 oz. to any R-134a systems for enhanced system performance.
• OIL CHARGE: Extreme Cold™ is also available as a 3-oz oil charge can (Part # 9150).  In this case, 1 oz of R-134a is pressurized in the can with 2 oz. Extreme Cold™ .  Using any refrigerant dispensing tool, the refrigerant acts as a propellant to introduce the precise amount of Extreme Cold™ into the system.
• REFRIGERANT ADDITIVE: Adding refrigerant to a system?  Try an R-134a product with Extreme Cold™ added!  Each contains 2 oz. of Extreme Cold™ and enough refrigerant to recharge your system.  (Check your Operator’s Manual for system capacity.)
